Accounts Assistant Maternity Contract – Dublin

Contract type: 12 month Maternity Leave contract

Reporting to:  Senior Financial Accountant

 

Your Role

  • Support the Finance team in the delivery of the monthly management accounts
  • Record day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying and recording financial data
  • Assist the team with Balance Sheet reconciliations and other Month end procedures
  • Responsible for the requisitioning of third party licences & support
  • Support the Finance team in adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Provide administration support to team members including assistance with ISO 27001 compliance
  • Liaising with other departments to resolve queries
  • Reception cover
  • General office duties and other ad-hoc duties as required
  • Working hours are 9-5.30pm Monday to Friday.

 

Your Profile

  • A college degree or similar Finance/Business qualification
  • Minimum 1 years’ accounts/book keeping experience
  • Working knowledge/understanding of accounting processes and procedures
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and accounting software
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
  • Good analytical and problem solving ability
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Holds a valid work permit if required
