We are growing our Sales team across the USA and are seeking a motivated, proactive Software Sales Executive to join our North America Sales Team to sell our award winning SoftCo P2P solutions to new customers. The ideal candidate is a results driven, technically savvy sales professional with a solid understanding of finance processes and C level engagement.

Software Sales Executive – Your role:
We are growing our Sales team across the USA and are seeking a motivated, proactive Software Sales Executive to join our North America Sales Team to sell our award winning SoftCo P2P solutions to new customers. The ideal candidate is a results driven, technically savvy sales professional with a solid understanding of finance processes and C level engagement. Your responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and execute demand generation plans to drive pipeline growth, ensuring full territory coverage in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Build a strong self generated pipeline while working closely with our marketing and lead generation teams.
- Proactively engage with customers and partners to understand their needs and position the SoftCo solution portfolio effectively.
- Qualify and nurture leads, progressing them through the sales cycle.
- Develop a strong understanding of our products and apply business knowledge to analyse customers’ current process and identify how they can be streamlined using the SoftCo solutions.
- Own the full sales cycle—manage and close deals to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Drive opportunity management for both volume and value deals, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate CRM data for pipeline management and customer intelligence.
- Create quotations, proposals and tender responses to the highest standards.
- Prepare and deliver quality presentations.
- Independently demonstrate the SoftCo P2P solutions to new customers, online or in person.
- Provide input on sales strategy and contribute to strategic and tactical marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with the SoftCo consulting technical teams to deliver successful customer projects.
- Adhere to company policies and compliance standards.
Your profile:
You have demonstrated success in demand generation & consultative selling in the software sector. You also have a solid understanding of business processes, preferably within the Finance and ERP space, with fundamental knowledge of IT principles. In addition, you have/are:
- Key mindset for success, resilience, grit, curiosity, problem-solving, proactive, ownership and goal oriented.
- 2-3 years of experience in new business sales, field sales, or demand generation.
- 1-2 years as a quota-carrying sales professional (mandatory).
- University/College degree or similar qualification in a technical or business discipline.
- Proven track record in new business sales in Finance, AP or ERP environment.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and proactively generate new leads.
- Experience in presenting to and negotiating with prospective customers at all levels.
- Motivated, professional, can work on own initiative, with the capacity to be a versatile team player – flexible, proactive, pragmatic and a drive to go the extra mile.
- Skilled in delivering multiple tasks simultaneously with a strong attention to detail.
- Fluency in written and spoken English with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Proficient in the use of Sales CRM and MS Office applications.
