Working across low‑code platforms, scripting, and data integration, you will streamline processes, reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and use AI-driven tools to boost operational efficiency.

You will collaborate with teams across the business to identify automation opportunities, eliminate repetitive tasks, and deliver reliable, scalable solutions. This role offers the chance to contribute to the maturity of our automation program, mentor colleagues, and strengthen the systems that support our data warehouse and business intelligence environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Build custom scripts and integrations in Python and other scripting languages when low-code tools require extended capabilities.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve automated workflows while promoting best practices across the business, including governance, security, exception handling, and version control.

  • Stay up to date with emerging tools and approaches in workflow automation, RPA, AI-driven (agentic) automation, and process optimisation.

  • Develop AI-powered automations, including prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, and integration of agentic tools.

  • Integrate systems and automate data flows through APIs, connectors, and other mechanisms, supporting data quality in collaboration with the Data team.

  • Document automation architectures, workflows, and processes for transparency, auditing, and onboarding.

  • Provide training, guidance, and light mentorship to internal teams adopting automation tools or participating in workflow improvements.

  • Collaborate in an Agile or iterative environment, participating in planning, reviews, and operational improvement projects.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in automation, RPA, process optimisation, or data engineering.

  • Experience with Power Automate, n8n, or similar low-code platforms.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for automation, integrations, or data manipulation tasks

  • Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data structures/modelling fundamentals.

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and common authentication frameworks for system integration.

  • Skilled at analysing workflows and translating needs into technical solutions.

  • Strong communicator, able to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Desirable

  • Experience with agentic automation, LLM-based orchestration, or AI-enhanced workflows.

  • Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, or cloud-native automation tools (e.g. AWS Step Functions, Azure Synapse).

  • Broader automation platform experience across Microsoft Power Platform, Google Workspace, or n8n ecosystems.

  • Knowledge of workflow orchestration, error handling, observability, and system integration patterns.

  • Comfort mentoring or enabling “citizen developers” within low-code/no-code teams.

  • Exposure to business process frameworks such as BPMN, Lean, or change management methodologies.
