The SoftCo Foundation announces new partnership with Social Entrepreneurs Ireland

SoftCo has continued its commitment to supporting deserving and charitable causes this month by announcing a new partnership with Social Entrepreneurs Ireland (SEI). SoftCo has agreed to contribute both finance and resources to help SEI run their Scale Programme for the next two years.

SEI’s Scale Programme supports four social entrepreneurs who have been identified as having high-potential and have a demonstrable record of effecting significant and rapid social change. Thanks to the SoftCo Foundation’s support, SEI will be able to work with these entrepreneurs, providing bespoke support in order to increase their impact and ensure they develop sustainable and effective organizations.

“We are delighted to partner with SoftCo to deliver our Scale Programme. Aside from the generous financial donation, we are looking forward to leveraging Susan and other senior SoftCo employees who will be a wealth of knowledge for organizations on the programme.”

Darren Ryan, Chief Executive, Social Entrepreneurs Ireland

“We are delighted to begin our partnership with Social Entrepreneurs Ireland. The work that they do towards building and scaling social businesses is really helping to address and combat some of Ireland’s biggest challenges.”

Susan Spence, Co-Founder, SoftCo

Social Entrepreneurs Ireland believes that Ireland’s social problems are not being solved quickly enough. SEI supports social entrepreneurs from start-up to scale-up with the end-goal of developing new ideas to tackle Ireland’s biggest challenges. SEI provides these organizations with mentoring, funding and access to a network of support to help them significantly increase their impact in Ireland.

The SoftCo Foundation was established with the goal of providing support to projects worldwide that could make a difference to people’s lives. The goal of the foundation is to take a practical approach and to provide assistance to those who need it the most. The foundation supports many different charities, including Irish Injured Jockeys, Guy’s Cancer and CMRF Crumlin.
