Since SoftCo was established in 1990, we have always been aware of our responsibilities to our community and the need to give back. We support numerous charities every year and our staff has led the way by getting directly involved in diverse fundraisers, from running marathons to riding horses in competitive races to organizing cake sales.
Over the last 30 years, we have supported grassroots sports at various levels in rugby, football, baseball, horse racing, golf and cricket. Our work supporting grassroots hockey, including underage international teams, led us to support the Irish Women’s hockey team when funding was needed in 2018. The result was one of the most remarkable underdog sports stories as the team reached the World Cup final.
We work closely with our ambassadors to raise funds for charitable causes including the fight against children’s cancer, respite care for disabled children, social entrepreneurship, heart disease, homelessness, the injured jockey’s fund and cancer research. In 2016, The SoftCo Foundation was established as a vehicle for donating to various charities and worthy causes around the world.
The SoftCo Foundation was established with the goal of providing support to projects worldwide that could make a difference to people’s lives. The goal of the Foundation is to take a practical approach and to provide assistance to those who need it the most. Most recently, the SoftCo Foundation has established a food bank for those in need, and has funded an innovative new Lymphoma Tissue Bank at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital in London, which will aid research in curing blood cancers for future generations.
