SoftCo is today hosting a game of rugby golf between All Blacks legend and SoftCo10 brand ambassador, Dan Carter, and Ireland’s own Ronan O’Gara, in what will be the ultimate battle of the fly-halves. The game will take place in Dun Laoghaire Golf Club, as part of the launch of our new platform, SoftCo10. This is a charity event in support of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital and Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital.
The event is in conjunction with the SoftCo Foundation, a charity committed to providing assistance to those who need it the most. The charities that will be donated to are:
– Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, to support their pediatric services, and
– Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital, London, to assist their established cancer research facility.
Rugby golf is a game in which a rugby ball replaces a golf ball on a golf course. The aim is to kick and pass the rugby ball into the holes (baskets) situated around the course. The game will take place over 4 holes and will be officiated by former international IRB referee, Alan Lewis.
