We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic IT Administrator to support our internal infrastructure. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will manage hardware, software, networks, and user access, provide technical support, implement security measures, and facilitate backups and recovery.

IT Administrator – Your role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic IT Administrator to support our internal infrastructure.  Reporting to the IT Manager, you will manage hardware, software, networks, and user access, provide technical support, implement security measures, and facilitate backups and recovery. You will also have an opportunity to gain experience working with AWS and Microsoft Azure platforms.  In your role you will:

  • Provide day-to-day support and maintenance tasks to ensure smooth IT Operations.
  • Client support via helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Administration of Microsoft Active Directory on a Windows network.
  • Administration of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams Phone System, SharePoint and OneDrive)
  • Maintenance of our established security systems and procedures.
  • Maintenance and monitoring of IT infrastructure – production & test servers, desktops and physical network equipment.
  • Administration of anti-virus and Windows updates.
  • Ensure ISO 27001 & SOC compliance and adherence to the organisations Information Security policies at all times
  • Maintain IT support documentation.
  • Any other additional ad-hoc duties as required.

Your profile:

  • Third level IT qualification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Good technical knowledge and experience including, deploying and maintaining MS Windows based infrastructures, administration of Active Directory and Microsoft 365, experience with Microsoft virtualisation technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure platforms an advantage
  • Troubleshooting and problem analysis skills.
  • Proactive approach.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland with fluent written and verbal English.
