SoftCo, a global leader in financial automation software, today announced the successful completion of its Service Organization Controls (SOC) 1 Type 1 audit examination. This announcement follows the successful completion of SoftCo’s SOC 2 Type 1 audit in August of 2021.
SOC 1 is an internationally recognized auditing standard issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) which focuses on a service organization’s controls likely to be relevant to an audit of a customer’s financial statements. SoftCo retained Grant Thornton, a leading global audit, tax, and advisory firm, to perform its SOC 1 audit. Grant Thornton’s examination was conducted in accordance with the International Standard on Assurance Engagements 3402, “Assurance Reports on Controls at a Service Organisation” issued by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB).
Commenting, Anton Scott, CEO SoftCo Group, said:
“Following on from our successful SOC 2 Type 1 audit in August last year, this further successful SOC 1 Type 1 audit demonstrates SoftCo’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions that enable our customers to meet their financial reporting obligations with confidence.”
