SoftCo, the leading provider of financial automation solutions, is delighted to announce that JJ Food Service has chosen SoftCo AP to replace its manual accounts payable (AP) processes. JJ Food Service chose SoftCo AP to manage its 70,000 vendor invoices per year, delivering improved invoice processing, shorter approval times, and reduced costs. The AP solution will be delivered on the new powerful financial automation platform, SoftCo10.
JJ Food Service is a food service specialist with a turnover of £182 million a year and eleven branches across the UK, supplying all food industry sectors including restaurants, hotels, schools, universities, and local authorities. In 2016, JJ Foods won the prestigious Grocer’s Technology Supplier of the Year award.
SoftCo AP automates the capture of invoices, after which a 3-way match is performed with the invoice, purchase order, and the good receipt note. It will seamlessly integrate with JJ Foods’ existing ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics AX. Typically, over 80% of invoices are auto-matched and posted straight to the ERP system requiring no manual intervention. Only exception invoices are routed for resolution, significantly reducing the workload for accounts payable teams.
